Doris is a woven rug in pure wool made with two of Kasthall's unique yarns. One is a chenille yarn, giving the rug its fluffy pattern, and the other is our classic wool yarn, used in many of our woven collections. The geometric dot pattern provides the surface with a delicate structure. Doris was designed by the late Gunilla Lagerhem Ullberg, Kasthall's lead designer for 28 years.

Backing is a treatment in which the underside of woven rugs is coated with acrylate adhesive. This stabilizes the rug and extends its life. It is recommended for woven rugs wider than 200 cm or larger than 6 square metres in area.
Underlay Is recommended for all Kasthall rugs and can be used on all types of flat floors. Underlay has a slightly self-adhesive surface that ensures the rug will not slip on the floor. Underlay can be used on floors with under-floor heating and can be washed at up to 30°C. The use of rug underlay extends the life of a rug.
